What Grease do you Recommend for my Trailer Surge Brake Actuator
Question:
I just purchased a titan model 6 drum brakes replacement actuator. The actuator does not ship with any lubrication on the moving contact surfaces. How should it be lubricated?

Expert Reply:
When lubricating your Titan Model 6 the Titan Zinc-Plated Brake Actuator part # T43397007K I recommend using a white lithium grease like LubriMatic White Lithium Grease part # L11354. It will give you great protection and lubrication.
You will want to lubricate any moving part and do it at least every 6-8 months to ensure proper operation. More often won't hurt especially if you are using it in rough conditions.
