Anti-Sway for 2020 Kia Sorento

I see that you responded to someone else saying that the 2020 Sorento can not support a WDS? We just purchased a trailer and the sales rep said I should consider buying the combo anti sway with WDS hitch.....I was going to consider this but now Im not sure what would be safest. My trailer UVW is 3440 and GVWR is 4250Lb

There is an anti-sway bar you can use with your 2020 Kia Sorento, but in order to use a weight distribution system, the trailer hitch receivers that fit a vehicle need to be rated for use with weight distribution systems. The hitches that fit a 2020 Kia Sorento are not rated for use and thus aren't compatible with a weight distribution system:

- etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98843

- Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13195

What you can use instead is an anti-sway bar, the Curt Friction Sway Control for Weight Distribution Systems # 17200.

While the title says it is use for weight distribution systems, it does not have to and can be mounted on your trailer, you will simply need to add the Reese Sway-Control Bracket for 2" Ball Mounts # RP26003.

Since you are going to be towing, and need a wiring harness, assuming your 2020 Sorento does not have the factory tow package the correct harness is the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56256.
