Recommended Flat Towing Setup for 2009 Ford Edge
Question:
I have a 2009 Ford Edge Sport. I want to use this to tow it behind my motorhome. Do you have any installation videos how this hooks up? Is it easy to do or will have have to have something added to the frame of my vehicles

The Blue Ox Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # BX2190 is the fit for your 2009 Ford Edge and will work well with the Blue Ox Acclaim Tow Bar - A-Frame - Car Mount - 5,000 lbs # BX4330 you asked about. There are a few other components needed as well to safely flat tow a vehicle; you will need wiring and supplemental braking as well. I recommend the following:
Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267
Demco SBS Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System - Proportional # SM99251
The # RM-88400 relay is also required to prevent the towed vehicle's brake signal from overriding the turn signal from the RV when applying the brakes during a turn. It is not required when using magnetic tow lights.
I've attached an article to help with an overview of flat towing and what each of these components actually do..
