Does Installation of etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver on 2014 Toyota RAV4 Require Fascia Trimming

I have a 2014 Rav 4 xle and I was interested in your E98864. I watched your video on what hitches fit my Rav and this one was one of them. I called and spoke to one of your experts and what she told me is not what you have online. Install shows no trimming required and this fits my vehicle. She told me that this requires trimming. Video I saw said this one and curt 13449 was a perfect fit with no trimming required. So I am reaching out again because I am very confused. Hope to here from you soon Thank You.

The installation of the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98864 or the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13149 on your 2014 Toyota RAV4 does not require fascia trimming. However, some models of RAV4 may have a small panel (not fascia) underneath the vehicle which does need to be trimmed.

I have also added links to installation videos of both the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98864 and Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13149.

The video of the Curt shows the install on a RAV4 which does not have that trim panel, and the etrailer hitch is on a RAV4 which does have that panel.

Additionally, if you are planning on towing and need a trailer wiring harness the correct part is the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118578.
