Fit of Thule TH934XTR Hitching Post Pro on 2011 Toyota Rav4 w/ Curt C13149 Class III Trailer Hitch
Question:
I got a 2011 Toyota RAV4 with a #13149 Hitch already mount. Now Im thinking to buy a Thule Hitching Post Pro - Folding Tilting 4 Bike Rack w Anti-Sway - 1-1/4inch and 2inch Hitches. Can you tell me is this is the correct one for my car, Im worry about the spare tire. Thanks!

To confirm that the Thule # TH934XTR Hitching Post Pro will work on your 2011 Toyota Rav 4, there's a measurement you'll need to take. Have a helper stand a piece of lumber like a 2x4 or a yardstick flush against the rear facing part of the spare tire so it's touching the ground. Then, from the center of the hitch pin hole measure rearward until you hit the lumber or yardstick. If this dimension is LESS than 13-1/2 inches, the Hitching Post Pro would be an excellent choice. I've linked you to an FAQ article that shows exactly how to make that measurement.
When we installed the Curt # C13149 on a 2011 Toyota Rav 4, we found that the hitch pin hole to rear of spare tire distance to be just over 6 inches, so the rack should fit just fine, but just to be sure, I'd recommend confirming by taking a quick measurement.
