High Capacity Hitch Recommendation for 2002 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD
Question:
I have a 2002 Chevy 2500hd. Does this hitch fit that truck. Thanks

Expert Reply:
It will not if your truck came from the factory with a pickup bed. The Draw-Tite # 41936 is for a cab and chassis truck which uses a narrower frame than the pickup.
If you have the pickup, I'd recommend the Draw-Tite # 41944 which has a similar capacity of 13K towing and 1950 lbs of tongue weight. This is the most reasonably priced high capacity hitch we offer for your truck.
I've linked to an installation video and the install instructions for you.
