Bike Rack That Will Clear Hatch and Bumper On a 2017 Nissan Rogue With Curt Hitch
Question:
Hello There, I purchased a Curt Trailer Receiver – Custom Fit-Class III- 2” code C13204 like 2 years ago. I was planning to buy a 1Up USA platform bike rack , you think it will clear the bumper and allow me to fold up the bike rack without extender? Thank you in advance

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C13204 while installed on a 2017 Nissan Rogue will sit 7" from the end of the bumper while measuring from the center of the hitch pin hole. Therefore, you need a bike rack with a really long shank in order to clear the bumper in the in-use position let alone the stored position assuming it folds up. For this, we have the Hollywood Racks Trail Rider 2 Bike Platform Rack part # HR200Z which would clear the bumper in both the in-use and stored position without issue. It would also allow for access to the rear hatch area as well.
Unfortunately, we do not carry any 1UP bike racks so I cannot confirm on compatibility. The measurements that are needed to determine hatch and in-use/stowed clearance are something we take in house so I am not sure you would get the answers you are looking for without trying it yourself but just by looking at the length of the shank on the bike rack I would not say it is very likely.
