Best Budget 5th Wheel Hitch for 2020 Ford F-450 Super Duty
Question:
I'm interested in one of your 5th wheel hitches for my 2020 F-450 super duty but don't want to spend a ton of money and at the same time don't want to sacrifice quality. What's the best bang for my buck type of hitch that you can recommend? I would need the rails too since it doesn't have the factory prep. Thanks!

For a 5th wheel hitch that is well built, comes from a brand you can trust and won't necessarily break the bank, I highly recommend the Curt Q20 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # C16130, rated for 20,000 lbs.
What I like about this hitch is that it features a 360 degree cushioned head so you'll experience a relatively smoother ride on top of the solid double jaw connection that's much more secure and rattles significantly less than standard slide bar models. The hitch head can be removed with two simple pins so it makes it much easier to remove it, especially if there's no one else around.
For a custom installation kit that includes the brackets, rails, and hardware, I recommend part # BWRVK2402. Since the brackets mount to existing holes in your F-450's frame, it will cut the install time in half, when compared to a universal kit which would require drilling.
