No Power To Trailer Running Lights On a 2018 Ram
Question:
I am stumped. Hope you can help. I have a 2018 Dodge Ram. When I have a 4 way tester installed only the right 2 lights light up. The one marked “tail” does not illuminate. The park lights or running lights do not work on trailers I hook up to. I have changed every single fuse associated with attaching a trailer. Any advice?

The trailer running light fuse on a 2018 Ram 1500/2500/3500 will be located in the engine bay fuse box, a blue 20 amp fuse in the F29 cavity. If the filament is intact then you will want to test for power on the running light wire behind the trailer connector (usually brown) to see if there is power. If you have power here then replace the trailer connector with the 7- and 4-Pole Trailer Connector Socket part # HM40975-11933. If you don't have power here then there is an issue with the PCM and you will need to take the vehicle to the dealer for repairs.
