Lift Kit for 2013 Jayco Jay Feather Ultra Lite Travel Trailer

Question:

I have a 2013 Jayco Jayfeather Ultra Lite X23F and i am looking for a Lift Kit or a way to raise this camper about 2 to 3 inches. Do you carry a lift kit for this model?

How you would proceed will depend on which type of suspension your camper has, and who the manufacturer of the axle was. If it's a leaf spring axle, and the leaf springs are currently mounted to the underside of the axle, you can use an over/under kit such as part # K71-384-00 for a 2-3/8 inch diameter axle tube. This will allow you to move the spring pack to the top of the axle, gaining you a height difference equal to the axle diameter plus the thickness of the spring pack. If the axles are already mounted to the top of the axle, taller spring hangers will gain you a little height, but not the 3 inches you're looking for.

If your axles are torsion axles, which don't use leaf springs, the correct lift kit will depend on the manufacturer and the capacity of the axles. The # K71-724-02 kit you referenced is designed for Dexter #11 Torflex tandem axles with 4,100-6,000-lb capacities.

There isn't an easy reference to determine which particular axles your Jayco Jayfeather was originally equipped with but if you could reply with the last 8 digits of the VIN, I'd be happy to look into it further for you.
