Spare Tire Operation with Curt Trailer Hitch 13575 Installed on 2015 Mazda CX-9
Question:
The picture you have posted using the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2inch on a 2015 Mazda CX-9 looks like it prevents the spare tire from raising and lowering. Is that the correct or is it just the angle of the photo? Thank you!

The Curt hitch part # 13575 when installed does change the spare tire access but you still will be able to access the spare tire when needed. Basically you'll have to push the spare around the hitch as you raise or lower it. We've had customers with this hitch come back and say this is what they had to do and it wasn't too difficult of an additional step.
