Troubleshooting Powered A Frame Jack that Wont Move
Question:
I have the electric jack I put on my goose horse trailer. It all of a sudden wont move. it makes noise, wobbles but dont move. then no noise, I push restet button and it makes noise again But dont move. It worked fine a couple weeks ago, I even got new batteries. I tried the old manual hand crank it wont move it.

What happens if you use the manual crank handle of the jack? Can you get the jack to move? Or is it still locked up? Either way it's probably time to replace the jack, but if you can turn the crank with the handle the issue is most likely the motor but if not it's most likely a damaged screw. If the manual crank works, you might also check the power to the jack.
Neither part is available as a replacement part. If you need a new jack I would recommend the Lippert # LC285318 powered tongue jack rated for 3500 pounds of lift.
