This trailer jack is rated for 3,500 lbs so it will have more than enough power to lift and lower your tongue weight of 700 lbs. This trailer jack has a total lift of 25-1/8 inches and comes with an LED light that shines down towards the coupler to make connecting or disconnecting your trailer in the dark much easier. Another great feature about this electric trailer jack is that it has the option to be manually operated in case of emergency situations. I recommend this jack over other options since it delivers the strength and durability that you will need at a lower price point.

When comparing these jacks, the price difference has to do with a few more things than just the lift capacity, although that does come into play as well. As for the durability of the etrailer Camper Jack # EJ-3520-BBX, as long as you are using it like it was meant to be used, and you are not abusing the lift capacity of 3,500 lbs, it will hold up really well. The etrailer Camper Jack has some of the more basic features like the extend/retract switch, the on/off switch for the light, and the standard emergency manual crank. It is a basic level jack that will get the job done. The Bulldog Camper Jack # BD500199, which has a higher capacity at 4,000 lbs, has a 4-6 inch overlap of the tubes when it is fully extended which will help provide additional support when you are loading from the side of the trailer. It has the 3 LED lights with the toggle switch which helps to make coupling easier. It also has built-in level springs for simple and accurate leveling, and uses a spring loaded pull pin to quickly release the drop leg into position. The Bulldog jack uses an extend/retract power switch with a powered drive for quiet operation. This jack also features a 5-Year limited warranty The Husky Camper Jack, part # HT87247, is the heavyweight of the 3 jacks since it has a lift capacity of 4,500 lbs.
