The Bulldog 4,000 pound Powered Drive Trailer Jack # BD500199 runs off the of a battery on the trailer or directly from the tow vehicle's battery depending on how you have it setup. If it's off the trailer's battery then you charge it by plugging your trailer into your tow vehicle and it charges from the vehicle's battery.
