Solution to Smooth Out Ride of 2011 Forest River Rockwood Ultra Lite 33 foot Travel Trailer
Question:
When we are going down the road pulling the trailer the least little bumb in the road seems to magnify to the point that pictures jump off the wall, even with velcro strips to hold them tight. The closet is in the rear of the trailer and even with pulling bunge cord over the top of all hangers to tie them down almost all cl We are running out of ideas. The cothes are on floor when we stop. Also has sliding closet and 2 bathroom door that totally jump off of rollers, and yes we do strap them down with snaps on door and the floor. this trailer is supposed to have the latest type of axle,no leaf springs and no way no add more ride system. Any ideas would be appreciated greatly.

One option that might help is the Gen-Y Torsion 2-Ball Mount w/ Stacked Receivers # 325-GH-1024. This is a cushioned ball mount setup that basically gives the ball mount connection of the trailer suspension. This uses torsion springs to vertically cushion the front of your trailer where it connects to the vehicle. It will smooth out the ride noticeably and strangely enough Gen-Y has told us that people get better fuel mileage when they use this as well.
Check out the review video I attached for more info as well.
