What Torsion Hitch Do You Recommend To Tow A Car Hauler With My 2017 Dodge Durango AWD

Question:

I am shopping for a 24 x 8.5 enclosed car Hauler trailer. I also was told that you have a tortion hitch set up that works so well that I will not need load lever or rear shock assist. My 2017 Durango AWD 5.7L engine weights 4,750# has a Gross combined Trailer Weight of 13,100# With a Max GTW of 7,200# - Max tongue 720#. Durango + Cargo 4,750 + 4,000 = 8,750# . Max combined wt. 13,100 – 8,756 = 4,350# Please inform me of these products.

After reading your question I am assuming you are talking about a hitch with weight distribution. That is the question I am answering.

I think the Gen-Y Torsion 2-Ball Mount w/ Stacked Receivers - 2" Hitch - 5" Drop/Rise - 10,000 lbs, part # 325-GH-1024, will meet your needs. This is a shock absorbing hitch receiver. It has up to a 5" rise/drop and it comes with a 2" and a 2-5/16" ball mount. Please keep in mind that the maximum tongue weight you have to adhere to is the lower of the the two tongue weights between your vehicle and your torsion hitch. In this case. your 2017 Dodge Durango AWD has the lowest tongue weight of two, 1000 lbs vs 720 lbs, As a result, you will use the 720 lbs total when towing with this torsion hitch.

I have included a product description link and a video review link below.
