Can Curt Reducer Sleeve be Used with Weight Distribution

what is the difference between 7028700 and one u suggest to use with weight distribution system because they look the same.C45405

The 7028700 reducer is a Reese Towpower product which we don't carry. The Curt reducer, part # C45405, is a similar product.
I've reached out to and they definitely assured me that the # C45405 reducer is rated for weight distribution.
The 7028700 is not. From my research and some feedback from customers the Reese Towpower products are actually labeled that they're not to be used with weight distribution systems.
