Best Speed Rating for a 4.80-12 Trailer Tire

I have 4x6 trailer with 4.8-12 tires and wheel and will like to change it to Loadstar ST175/80D13 Bias Trailer Tire with 13inch White Wheel - 5 on 4-1/2 - Load Range B, i have 2.5” clearence above current tire and 3” clearence between frame and tire, reason i want to switch is because i will be taking trailer on a 2000 mile trip only thing i will be carrying will be 420 honda rancher i will like bigger tire due to higher speed capacity not for weight porpuses, would you recommend it?

For your 4x6 utility trailer, I recommend using the Taskmaster 4.80R12 Radial Trailer Tire part # TT48012C. This tire has a radial ply construction which will be better for the longer highway trips you intended to make. It has a load range C rating which is 990 lbs per tire and a speed rating M which is 81 mph. It also comes with a two year warranty.

The Loadstar ST175/80D13 Bias Trailer Tire part # AM3S050 that you referenced would not fit your trailer due to the tire to fender clearance and it does have an 81 mph speed rating. I have attached a review video on the above tire for you as well.
