Can DL Powered Winch # DL25215 be Used for 24 Foot Long Pontoon Boat
Question:
I have a 24ft pontoon that we normally take out to the gulf. Would this wench be strong enough to to load my toon easily for as a woman? Would it work beat to wire directly to my truck battery or should I install a separate battery on the trailer? Thank you.

Electric winches like the Powered Winch # DL25215 take all of the work out of winching in a boat at a boat ramp. Basically you just have to connect the strap and press a button and you're good. This would have more than enough capacity for a 24 foot long pontoon as well.
Since this winch will pull up to 70 amps you'll need to install a deep cell battery on your trailer as your trailer wiring connector power source will not be strong enough.
