Question:

Already asked my question starting with I have the LF error showing and your answer told me to cause an error??!?!? I also said we cannot manually operate middle jacks and your answer specifically said to operate them??!?!

The issue you are having with the Lippert Ground Control 3.0 Electric 5th Wheel RV Leveling System part # LC675817 is an easy fix and you can do it yourself without taking the trailer in anywhere. The system needs rehomed which can be done by following the steps below.

1. Introduce an error - disconnect one of the hall effect sensor wires at the controller.
2. Attempt to operate the jack that is associated with the sensor wire that was disconnected. The touch pad screen will display an error for that jack.
3. Reconnect the hall effect sensor wire. Manually extend all jacks down a minimum of 6 inches.
4. Press and hold the retract button until all of the jacks begin to retract. The jacks will retract until they reach the hard current limit.
5. The jacks are now “homed.”
NOTE: If the jacks do not retract, an error should display on the touch pad screen. This is typically caused by wiring interruption.
NOTE: In order to "home" jacks, middle jacks must also be extended.

Yes, an error must be introduced into the system in order to begin the rehome process. All you will need to do to accomplish this is unplug one of the jack wires from the controller and hit the auto level button. You will then want to use the touchpad and try to extend the jack you unplugged and an error message will occur. The process to manually extend the jack will not involve the touchpad but rather the manual override feature on each jack. If the jack will not extend via the manual override feature described above then it will need to be replaced with part # LC305339 for middle left or part # LC344792 for middle right. If you are not comfortable performing the troubleshooting process for this system then you can take the trailer to a local RV dealer with a service center as they should be very familiar with the Lippert Ground Control 3.0 Electric 5th Wheel RV Leveling System.
