Troubleshooting/Resetting Jacks On A Lippert Ground Control 3.0 That Have A Rear Sensor Error

Question:

I had lowered front jacks to ground level in order to wash/wax camper nose. When I went to raise nose, the control panel locked up beeping and flashing rear sensor has failed. The on off button fails to turn control panel off. Beeping continues until I disconnect power at battery. Is there a way to reset/override control panel so I can manually raise nose to connect 5th wheel to truck? Thanks

If your touchpad on your Lippert Ground Control 3.0 Electric 5th Wheel RV Leveling System w Touchpad and Remote - 6-Point Set # LC675817 is showing an external sensor error, then that is indicating that you have a faulty connection to the rear sensor, or you may have some damaged wiring.

What you can do is check the connection and the wiring at your rear sensor and ensure it is not damaged or loose, and replace if needed.

If that checks out fine, then you can also try resetting the leveler. To do this, you will:

-Push the front button 5 times, with the power off,

-Push the rear button 5 times and the module should light up,

-From here you will hit enter and the system will reset itself.
