I thought, "I can do this!", and I did. It only took a little over an hour and I am extremely pleased with the results. Good quality product and fast shipping. I will recommend eTrailer any chance I get.
It is an amazing hitch functions extremely well. Here is the drawback. The nut is to tall. When Installed installed the cover for the hole the the nut goes in the cover just pops off every time.

It works fine, as you can see the top piece is just too tall for the bumper and a cap will not stay on it so it is a pain and costly to have to buy a new cap every 30 days.
The hitch arrived and fit as it was supposed to. A lot of people complain about the need of a 1/2" hex bit for the install. That is in fact true. I was able to borrow one from work, but not many people are going to have that laying around. Everything worked as it should. The fish wires worked really good. Coating was good on the hitch. I have not used it yet, but I expect it to work fine. The required torque for the 3/4" bolt is not something the typical torque wrench will be able to do. I dont have a 3/4 torque wrench and again had to borrow the tool. I have torque wrenches up to 1/2" and that one was still coming up about 70lb-ft too short. Product seems good so far.

Seems to be working well. No issues. No complaints. I would recommend this product. Overall it is a good product and would be great for most anybody. I don’t have to use the hitch more than once a month or so, but it has worked well when needed. Install is not bad at all, but the tools needed have to be rounded up. If you have friends or mechanics in the family that saves the need of having to buy the hex bit. I have added one to my toolbox after the fact.
Very easy install but you might need to buy a large drive socket for the top bolt. Tip, dont completely detach the fish wire from bolt before you get the nut started to avoid the bolt falling into the tube. Also dont completely tighten the 2 underneath bolts before tightening the top bolt otherwise you may not be able to replace the plastic cover cap.
After ordering and Shipping the product was great and it can handle all of my hauling needs on my Ram 1500..I am pleased and recommended to anyone looking for this unit as it's easy to install as well...thx again!
I received notification when the Hitch shipped and a follow up notification when it was received. I am pleased with the build quality and finish of the Hitch. I found the unit fairly easy to install and recommend lowering the spare tire for clearance of the Torque Wrench. Hex Bit Socket required. Watch the installation video. The FishWire worked great. Saved $$$ by not getting the factory Hitch and Installation. Installed in about 45 minutes. Looks Great!

Its been a year and I am very pleased with the build quality and finish has held up well....
I’m really happy with my new hitch. I refused to pay ridiculous prices with even more ridiculous installation fees. So, I’ve been keeping my eyes open for the last year or so. I found this site by accident. I had never heard of it so I did some research to make sure it was legit. I’m really glad I did.
This hitch is affordable and it took my no more than 20 minutes to install myself. I was happy about that too because it’s cold outside. It’s sturdy and will fit my needs which are towing small things like mowers, motorcycles, and pallets of pellets.
I did not lower my spare. If you want to use air/cordless tools you will most likely have to do that.
For the girls out there, you can install this on your own with a torque wrench, 19mm wrench, and 1/2 external hex bit (with 1/2 drive), in case you’re on the fence about it.
I bought the matte black version because I hate shiny things. I would recommend it if it fits your needs.

Super easy to install took about 30 min you guys definitely did your homework instructions matched my truck perfectly, have used several times good solid receiver
EZ install. First, discard included instructions.
There is a better way. I came up with techniques to easily fish wire. Dont mount hitch yet, as per instructions. Find a semi-rigid "pull" wire about 2 feet. Tape one end to the "threaded" end supplied wire in kit. Fish the plain end of "pull" wire into outlet hole and out other end. Now thread bolt onto kit wire. Fish kit wire back thru and pull bolt out of outlet hole, and into hitch holes until bolts are protruding from hitch mounting holes. (Rest hitch on top of tall bucket) Tip #2. Dont completely removed threaded wire from bolt; pull/unwrap wire from bolt exposing 2-3 threads. (This prevents bolt from falling into hole). Start bolt onto these 2 threads,than completely remove kit wire. Tip#3. Leave both bolts loose, now place hitch in place (may need a helper here) insert main bumper bolt, tighten all bolts.

I think you meant to say discard the included instructions when it comes to the fish wire? The instructions do have specs that you will need as well as other info for the installation so you want to make sure you hang on to the instructions.
The trailer hitch was great & easy to install. Whoever designed it was a genious. The people in your company are real professionals and a pleasure to work with. I'm very happy with my order even though there was a delayed delivery.
Very good hitch, easy to install, took under 30 minutes once I got the 1/2" hex socket

Its been a year now since installing the hitch and it works perfectly, pull a trailer with it every weekend.
Easy installation and looks great on my truck. Highly recommend!

I have used this heavily over the last year of having it and I can't say enough good things about it. Installation while a little difficult at times was easy. From different sized loads and trailers this item had held up without even 1 issue to this date. Would recommend to everyone.

I have loved this so much I have convinced over a dozen of my friends to either consider purchasing or actually purchase this for their trucks.
Hitch is heavy duty and works flawlessly
Very easy installation should work fine. One side fishing wire did not want to pull bolt through as easy as the other, good to have a long flexible magnet handy. Could not reinstall plastic cap to cover hex bolt as it sat to high.

Very easy to install, make sure you see the installation video. I recommend removing spare tire. Video says remove if you want but not necessary. It is necessary to get socket and wrench in. Other than that its a 20 minute project. Very happy with the quality of the hitch. Looks great too.
