Wheel Strap Recommendation for Securing 8,000 lb Ford Truck

Question:

Im looking for product recommendations to secure a F250 to a flat bed trailer 14,000lb rated trailer. the truck weights aproxamitly 8,000lb. I would prefer straps over chains. I notice a lot of straps have a breaking strength of 10,000lb and a safe working load of 3,333lb. if I am using 4 straps, how do I determine the safe working load required? do I take my 8,000 and divide by 4? Are the 3,333lb straps sufficient? Or do I need to order something more heavy duty such as a chain? Thanks

You'd be fine using a strap rated for 3,333 lbs WLL for each wheel to secure your 8,000 lb truck.

We have the Erickson Adjustable Ratcheting Wheel Net w/ Hooks # EM58522 that is rated for 3,333 lbs WLL and 10k as break strength.
