Solution to Activate 12 Volt 7-Way Trailer Circuit on 2017 Ford F-250
Question:
There is no power to the seven way camper plug of the subject truck. I reviewed some previous advice that you gave. Per the following Ford update they state that there does not need to be a 30 amp fuse and relay added. When I attach a trailer and then test the camper battery terminal there is power to the camper battery terminal. When the trailer is disconnected the camper battery terminal is dead. Any ideas ?

The simplest solution will be for you to run a wire directly from the truck's positive battery post through a circuit breaker like part # 9510 with 10 gauge wire like part # 10-1-1 to the 1:00 pin of the 7-way and you'll be set.
It can be a daunting task trying to track down factory wiring issues as information is limited and modern vehicles are pretty complicated. Bypassing all of that and running a manual wire will be the most reliable way to get the circuit active.
