I am happy to help you troubleshoot the 12v pin not getting power on the 7-way connector.

On some Fords with factory brake controllers, the 12V pin does not show power unless you are testing it with a trailer connected. Please make sure it is a trailer with an on board trailer battery. The truck must sense the load of the battery to activate that circuit. If you have a trailer connected and the 12V pin is still not showing power, you may have a blown or missing fuse in the power distribution box.

The factory does normally provide 1 fuse and 1 relay in the power distribution box for towing functions. I took a look at your owner's manual and position 27 in the fuse box is for the trailer tow battery charge for Ford's equipped with factory brake controllers. Check position 27 and for any other blown or missing fuses and relays in the box.

If there is a trailer connected when testing the 12v and there are not any missing or blown fuses, to avoid anymore troubleshooting you can run the 12v wire yourself and bypass the factory wiring. You can use 10 gauge wire part # DW02508-1 and a 40 amp circuit breaker part # 9510 to run the wire to the battery to power the 12V pin.
