The Hopkins Tail Light Converter Kit with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # HM48925 does not have a wire to tap into from your vehicle's battery. It is designed so you can spice into the taillight wiring harness at the rear of your 2005 Dodge Durango. I have attached the installation instructions for you to take a look at.
