Troubleshooting Hopkins HM48925 That Worked First Time But Now Only Running Lights Working Correctly
Question:
installed on a 2015 Chrysler town and country, worked to pull trailer first time all lights worked as they should, second attempt to pull trailer I only get running lights, and always right turn if right or left is turned on it appears that maybe converter is bad since turn signal is always on right side . Replaced converter and still same results, tested vehicle side to converter and left and right work fine for input to converter but always right turn out. No blown fuses in van.

I am sorry to hear you are running into issues with the Hopkins Taillight Converter Kit with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # HM48925 you installed in your 2015 Chrysler Town and Country.
First, I recommend double checking that the white wire attached to the frame of your Town and Country is snug and connected to clean corrosion free metal.
Next using a circuit tester like # PTW2993 I recommend double checking the functions of the vehicle end 4-way connector to see if the issue is on the vehicle side, or if it is on the trailer.
If the 4-way connector is not functioning properly I recommend double checking all of the connections to the vehicle to make sure one has not come loose, and that they are connected to the correct wires.
If 4-way connector functions work properly without the trailer connected, then I recommend starting with checking the connector on the trailer for corrosion that could be causing issues.
Next check the grounds on the trailer. If your trailer is aluminum or has a tilt bed you will need to make sure all of the grounds are run to the main ground on the tongue.
Next you will need to get underneath the trailer and verify that all of the wiring connections are secure, and there is not damage to the wiring.
I included a link to a helpful article that goes over wiring for you to take a look at.
