Will Timbren Trailer Suspension Enhancement System Work With Concession Trailer

Question:

Hey there Experts, I am in the process of building a concession trailer and wanted to add some support to my trailer and some more absorbing power for the road. I see that the unit with No load is 2-3/4inch tall here is the issue my clearance from the axle to the frame is currently 2-1/2inch with about 85 of our load still within the trailers limit meaning that I would place this and it would always have weight on it. Is this Bad? in the picture it shows a gap on the unit when its unloaded and contact when loaded technically with all our equipment in the trailer it will always be loaded at the same weight with the exception of a few things. Also since it is a lower clearance at the moment would this increase my ride height significantly? If it increases too much our serving window might be too high. Thanks for your time!

The Timbren Trailer Suspension Enhancement System, part # TTRA1702 is designed to be installed directly on the trailer frame. It has a weight capacity of 1,000-lbs.

As the instructions state, on trailers the springs will be in constant contact with the trailer frame so that is expected and the springs will work well for you. When under a load the springs will compress to a height of 1-1/8 inches so you will need a little more than that when no load is on the springs.
