Ball Mount to Fit a 2-1/2 Inch Trailer Hitch Receiver with 6 Inches of Drop
Question:
I am looking for a 6 inch drop, 2.5, 1200 lb tongue weight, 12000 lb tow weight ball mount with a securing pin to ball mount center of hole dimension of 12inch or as near as possible. Would prefer aluminum but would work with steel if that is what is available. Any suggestions ? Vehicle is 2016 Dodge Ram 3500 with maximum tow package.

We have a couple ball mounts that are going to be very close to what you're looking for.
The Curt Ball Mount # 45291 is a fixed ball mount that has 7-3/4 inches of drop and 10-1/2 inches from the pin hole to the center of the ball hole. It also has a maximum tongue weight of 1,200 pounds. However, it is steel and not aluminum. You also need a hitch ball # C40030.
Another option is the Fastway Flash E Series HD Adjustable 2-Ball Mount # FA42-00-2625 that's rated up to 1,800 pounds tongue weight, is made of aluminum and has a 6 inch drop. The problem here is there is only about 9 inches from the hitch pin hole to the center of the ball hole.
A final suggestion is the Weigh Safe 2-Ball Mount # WS6-25 that's rated up to 1,450 pounds. It has a drop of 6 inches is made of aluminum but is only 8-3/4 inches from pin hole to ball hole, center on center.
All three htiches will fit a 2-1/2 inch hitch receiver and can be locked using # e98881.
