Items Needed to Replace and Relocate a Broken OEM 7-Pin Plug on a 2007 Toyota Tundra
Question:
The plug on my 07 Toyota got sheared off right at the mounting flange clean. So the plug still works, but wont secure the trailer end. I plan on re-locating the plug to the bumper next to the License plate and the 30955 looks like the fix. Or should I just get a replacement end and cut off the old plug and fit a new one.

There are several options for installing a 7-way or 7-Way and 4-Way at the rear of your 2007 Toyota Tundra. I will list the options below, so you can determine which will be the best option for relocating your connector to the bumper of your vehicle.
The Pollak 7- and 4-Pole Trailer Connector Socket w/ Mounting Bracket - Vehicle End, item # HM40975, is the connector we normally recommend as a direct replacement for your truck. We have a video review of this connector for you to check out, see link.
The Pollak Replacement 7-Pole, RV-Style Trailer Connector Socket - Vehicle End, item # PK11893, would also work for you and may be easier to install at the bumper, but does not have the convenient 4-Way connector integrated into it. You would need an adapter, item # PK12716, for 4-Way trailer connections.
Finally, the Replacement Multi-Tow 7-Way and 4-Way Trailer Connector, item # 30955, that you referred to would also work and also comes with a mounting bracket for locating the connector in alternate locations.
If you find that the connector behind the trailer connector is broken also, you will need the 4-foot Pigtail Wiring Harness for Pollak Replacement 7-Pole RV Socket, item # PK11998. With this harness you would need to cut off the broken OEM connector and splice this connector to the correct wires using a circuit tester, item # PTW2993 if needed, to check each wire for function, and wire accordingly.
