Recommended 2000 lbs. Trailer Jack to Allow the Most Clearance

I am looking for an a-frame trailer jack that is the lowest profile possible from plate to top, so it does not damage my F150 tailgate if it s accidentally while trailer is connected. I only need 2000 lb, but will buy any model you make that may fit my needs. What is your model with the lowest possible height from bracket to absolute top of jack/handle/etc.

The shortest we have is about 13 inches from the bracket to the top of either the jack or the handle like the Pro Series Round, A-Frame Jack # PSRV20000103.

Another option, since you may not get the clearance you want, is to switch to a side mount jack such as the Pipe-Mount Swivel Style Jack # DL22685 is a weld on jack. Or you can go with the Pro Series Round Snap-Ring # PS1400300303 for a bolt on option.

The Bulldog Topwind Jack part #BD151464 has 15 inches of travel and attaches to the trailer frame like the Pro Series you mentioned so it would be a perfect option. I attached an install video for more info as well.

Easiest way would be to use a strap like a bungee part #EM06701to wrap around the handle and jack body to hold the handle to the jack.
