I checked with Curt and the 2015 Hyundai Sonata takes a different trailer hitch than the 2011 models. If you want to stick with the Curt brand the hitch for the 2015 model is # C11402.
If you are using the hitch for towing both vehicles/hitches do use the same ball mount, # C45521, as well as 1-7/8 inch ball # 19256 and 2 inch ball # 19258. For trailer wiring, if your 2015 is NOT a hybrid use # C56247. If it is a hybrid use # HM11143874.
If you want to use the hitch for an accessory such as a bike rack or cargo carrier then you have to make sure the accessory is rated for use with a Class I trailer hitch. Also, with a bike rack, you are limited to 2 bikes maximum on a Class I hitch.
Curt also says you have to use stabilization strap # 18050 when using this hitch for any non-trailer load (such as a bike rack or car go carrier) per their warranty requirements.
