Hitch Mount 2 Wheeled Scooter Carrier Recommendation for a Motorhome
Question:
have a 2014 33 ft georgetown motorhome. will the ultra fab carrier work for a 250pound scooter? I think the weight is ok but need to know distance from receiver pin to the carrier to see if I have enough clearance. thanks

Trailer hitches on motorhomes and trailers are further away from the rear axle than trucks and SUVs. This creates additional movement and bouncing like the back seat on a school bus. Most motorcycle carriers cannot handle the excessive bouncing but we do have one option.
The Ultra-Fab Motorcycle Carrier, # UF48-979033. This carrier is approved for use behind a motorhome and it has a weight capacity of 500lbs. The distance from the center of the hitch pin hole to the closest edge of the wheel tray is 16 inches (see photo).
