Switching to Electric Over Hydraulic Disc Brakes on a 2015 Landmark Key Largo 5th Wheel Trailer

Question:

I have a 2015 Landmark key Largo fifth wheel with electric brakes. I want to change that to a hydraulic brake system. My axles are Dexter 7000 lbs D70 EZ-lube with leaf springs and 9/16 studs. From what I saw on Kodiak website, they have a kit 2/HRCM-133-7-9-DAC with dacromet coating but the kit you have on your website is E-coating part number K2HR79E. You dont carry the dacromet kit ? also I have a 2008 GM 3500 pickup with integrated brake control module so I guess I have to go with Carlisle actuator HBA16 and HBA-CAM module What others parts will I need to complete the job. Brake line ? bearings ? from what I read on your site, the Titan brake kit number T4830000 was Designed for use on trailers with 2 torsion axles. what about leaf axle like on my Landmark Thanks for you time

We do have the kit you are looking for, # K2HRCM1337-9DAC. In addition to the brakes themselves you will need the electric over hydraulic actuator that you mentioned, # HBA16, for disc brakes.

Since you have the integrated brake controller on your 2008 GMC/Chevy Sierra/Silverado 3500 you will need the adapter, # HBA-CAM. The only other part you will need is a breakaway kit if you do not already have one, # 50-85-313.

That takes care of the brakes and electrical/actuator parts. For brake lines you can use kit # T4830000. It is for tandem axle trailers or torsion axle trailers so it will work just fine on your tandem axle trailer.
