Triple Axle Disc Brake Line Kit for 29 Foot Long Boat Trailer

Question:

I noticed the steel brake lines are bent into circles. Will I need a tool to straighten them out? In addition will I need a bending tool and or a cutting/flaring tools to layout and attach the brake lines? Thank you,

We have the triple axle disc brake line kit part # T4830000 which would work well on your 29 foot long boat trailer. The main feed line of this is 19 feet which should be about the right length to get to your axles.

There are some simple little pipe benders that you can get at a hardware store that will allow you to bend steel lines without kinking them. You can usually do it by hand by carefully bending the line around something like a soda or coffee can. You always want the highest point in the brake line to be at the master cylinder. So when you coil the line you want it to spiral down to the wheel. Any time you are adding, removing, or replacing brake lines you are likely going to lose some fluid. You will most definitely want to bleed the brakes afterwards. I have linked a video showing a typical trailer brake bleeding procedure.
