Came as ordered, easy tracking will use etrailer again.

The part is just what we needed. I would ask for better packing to assure parts don't get lost in shipping. I would also ask that there be a packing list included in the box for the receiving team to identify PO it belongs to.

by:

Product was received as ordered. The box with the hubs and spindles was soaking wet and product was exposed. One of the boxes with tire and rim was torn open on the back. No apparent damage to any of the product. Typical UPS delivery.

by:

great price and they are working good. the unmachined side is about .015" over size so if your going to weld this in DOM tubing you need to grind or machine a little. Works really well, nice machine work on them

by:

The products don’t have any damage at all. We need to return it because they are the wrong size. Can you please let me know what do I have to do? Thanks

by:

Excellent delivery and just what we nee ded.

by:

The spindles themself are heavy and seem like good products but they were layed loose in box nothing keeping them from getting banged around in the box

  • Replacement Spindle for 6,000 Pound Axle
The spindle where your grease seal sits should be smooth as you mentioned. It looks like a bearing probably blew on your hub to cause that type of damage on the spindle. Your only option will be to replace the spindle or the entire axle. If you have a 6,000 pound axle, the spindle we have available is the TruRyde # TRU57FR. This spindle uses the # 25580 inner bearing and # 14125A outer bearing so you will want to make sure this matches up to your current hubs. Just note that the replacement...

The # TRU37FR EZ Lube or the # TRU57FR standard spindle is compatible with the # AKIHUB-865-7-1-K hub you mentioned. These spindles are compatible with a 5200, 6000 or 7000 lb capacity axle, the axle capacity will depend on the bearing set used. The hub you referenced uses a 25580/14125A bearing set which is good to 7K.

  • Recommended Spindle, Idler Hub, Wheels and Tires For Homemade Cart Trailer Off Road Use Only
We have the #42 Spindle # TRU57FR that you can weld to your trailer. It is a 2-1/4" round stub as we do not have any square stub spindles that are rated for over 2,500lbs per spindle. With these spindles you can use the Trailer Idler Hub Assembly # AKIHUB-655-6-K since you do not need a braking hub. The hub is 6 on 5-1/2" as the 5 lug wheels are not strong enough for the 10,000lb capacity that you are needing. The Loadstar ST225/75D15 Bias Trailer Tire with 15" White Wheel # AM3S870...

  • What Spindles Should be Used on Dexter 7k Trailer Axle
Yes, the number 42 spindle is the standard for Dexter 7k axles like what you have. For that we have the part # TRU57FR which does not have a brake flange or we have the part # TRU37FR which does have the brake flange.

  • Replacement Spindle for Premco Tandem Axle Trailer
Our main page for trailer spindles is linked for you. Since your tandem axle trailer is rated for 9500-lbs it uses either 5000-lb or 5200-lb axles. For a 5K axle we offer # TRU57FR which uses a grease seal with an inner diameter (ID) of 2.24-inches, an inner bearing ID of 1.74-inches and an outer bearing ID of 1.25-inches. For a 5200-lb axle we have E-Z Lube spindle # TRU37FR which has the same seal and bearing surface dimensions. Please refer to the items' linked pages for a diagram...

  • High Capacity Spindle or Axle for Hay Wagon
I wish we did, but we do not carry any 10k rated trailer spindles. The highest we have is a 7k spindle like part # TRU57FR. This is a standard spindle that could work well on your hay wagon as long as you didn't need more than a 7k capacity. We also carry the hubs compatible like the Trailer Idler Hub Assembly for 7,000-lb Axles - 8 on 6-1/2 - Pre-Greased # AKIHUB-865-7-2-K. If you want the axle and not just the spindles, then I recommend the Dexter Trailer Axle Beam with E-Z Lube Spindles...

  • Replacement Trailer Hubs for Spindle # TRU57FR or Spindle # TRU37FR
If those measurements are spindle measurements, we do not have an exact match, but the best way to find the correct replacement hubs is to find the inner and outer bearings numbers stamped onto the bearings. With those numbers, finding the correct hubs will be easy. Most of the time, mobile home axles are good for one time use only. The closest spindle we have to the measurements you have provided would either be # TRU57FR or # TRU37FR. For the TRU57FR spindle with a 6 on 5-1/2 bolt pattern,...

The correct spindle for Dexter hub, part # 42660UC1, is spindle part # TRU57FR or EZ Lube spindle part # TRU37FR. There are other 6 on 6 hubs that you could use if you want heavier spindles. How much weight are you wanting each axle to hold? How many axles?

  • Will TruRyde Spindle TRU57FR Fit Dexter Trailer Hub Assembly 42865-KIT
The TruRyde #42 Spindle # TRU57FR is compatible with the Dexter Trailer Hub Assembly # 42865-KIT. Since the hub uses bearings 25580 and 14125A, whose inner diameters match up to the spindle dimensions, the hub will work on the spindle. Spindles need to be professionally welded on perfectly straight and concentric to ensure you do not have issues with trailer tracking or uneven tire wear.

  • How to Remove a Hub From a Trailer Spindle
To remove a hub from an axle, you will need to first remove the grease cap on the end of the hub. This will expose the end of the spindle. Once at this point, you will need to see if you have an EZ-Lube spindle, like # TRU77FR, or a standard spindle, like # TRU57FR. If you have the standard spindle, there will be a castle nut threaded onto the end of said spindle that is locking a fairly large washer in place. The inner diameters of these bearings must match up to the spindle dimensions for them to be compatible. Inner bearing # L68149 has an inner diameter of 1.378-inches. I have attached a product review video for this spindle you can check out. If you are interested in a spindle that has the EZ lube zerk fitting, I recommend part # TRU37FR. • Ford F-350 Dummy Tag Axle Using Timbren Trailer Axle with #42 Spindle and 8 on 6-1/2 hub
Here is what I would recommend. While all your options would require a lot of modification, the Timbren ASR400S02 only offers 1" of deflection (suspension travel) which would more than likely be easily damaged when driven. I would say to use the Timbren # ASR1THDS01. It offers the most deflection of 3-3/8". That should limit the chance of damage when the main suspension does travel. Timbren doesn't offer any #42 spindles for for this particular item. I recommend having #42 Spindle # TRU57FR...
