Among the keys to determining hub and spindle compatibility is the bearing set used.
The Dexter Trailer Idler Hub # 84545BX that you referenced includes inner bearing # L68149 and outer bearing # L44649. The inner diameters of these bearings must match up to the spindle dimensions for them to be compatible.
Inner bearing # L68149 has an inner diameter of 1.378-inches. The TruRyde #42 spindle # TRU57FR that you referenced has a diameter at the point where the inner bearing rides of 1.74 inches so this hub and spindle are NOT compatible.
