Distance between Weld Stops on Landing Gear Legs - Outside and Inside

Note: Landing gear is designed to stabilize a portion of your trailer's weight, not to support the full GVWR of your trailer. Do not use landing gear to lift your trailer or RV during tire changes or service work because doing so will exceed the capacity of the landing legs.

This landing gear set is sure to help you minimize set up time and get onto the things you want to do quicker. This set is constructed of powder coated steel to ensure that it will resist rust and corrosion and hold up well against the elements. A standard-speed motor provides the lifting power, while the cross shaft ensures that the jacks raise and lower at the same rate. The cross shaft also telescopes so that it can fit the width of your trailer.

Each jack has a drop leg that allows the gear to reach the ground faster, saving you time as you set up your trailer or RV. A crank handle is included in case you lose power and need to engage the landing gear manually.

This set includes everything you need for a smooth installation. The brackets are designed to weld onto your trailer, and the jacks then bolt onto those mounting brackets with the included hardware.

Received the Kit in about four days (5 Stars for etrailer). The shipping container was severely damaged (2 stars for UPS), but at least it arrived. Did not appear any parts were missing. I ordered this kit because it was less expensive for the complete kit then to replace both landing gear legs separately. I left the 5th wheel attached to the truck and removed the old landing gear, gearbox, and motor prior to the arrival of the new system. Keep all your parts. The new kit arrived and was very easy and straight forward to install. However the tubular steel expansion rod that connects both landing gear legs was too short. I had to use the my old connection rod. Also the spacer used for the inside of the large side of the connection rod was not included with the kit. Had to use the old spacer in the old connecting rod. I used my old landing gear foot plates and pull pins on both landing gear leg extensions. Once installed, the kit worked flawlessly. I placed red marker tape on the landing gear extensions so not to top out the legs when lifting. Again save all your old parts.

After using the landing gear for over a year on several trips, the landing gear, motor, and gear box have Worked flawlessly.

Super helpful, absolutely. A pleasure to work with will definitely order the rest of my parts through them and nobody else respond time. Was immediately to help me fix the problem and explain it to me. Couldn't ask for better customer service and a company that cares about what you think of the product that they say which was high quality. Honestly got to say they were pleasure and easy to work with I'm 60. Sometimes you can be a little tough using emails. And they actually took the time to call me and talk to me in person and help me throw it so thanks to their team.

I installed the jacks on my 23 ft. 5th wheel trailer, which was very simple and ran the electric wires direct to my battery compartment. The jacks work fine but are a bit too noisy for my liking. Not sure if all are this noisy but they do the job.

Still very noisy gears but it works.

New landing gear for my 2012 Cougar 5th wheel. Delivered on time (box was pretty beat up) all the parts were there and it was a perfect fit! Installed it myself in about 1 1/2 hours
Bonus, it was cheaper than at Amazon.
Highly recommend e
trailer !

This landing gear has worked great. Unfortunately it was a bigger job than we were willing to undertake but luckily found a mobile repair service to install it for us. We have had no problems since then.

I am very impressed with this Landing Gear, it is twice that of the Original equipment, in quality.

by:

Great replacement of landing gear that was no longer working correctly on our ole trailer. Was a pretty simple replacement once logistics of supporting trailer and accessing with generator compartment partially in the way. I no longer have the fear of be able to re-hitch if I need to lower for leveling purposes. Thanks etrailer you guys have been great with all my DIY trailer projects.

by:

It took about a week for me to receive the landing gear. I paid extra for express delivery although I actually received a day later than they said I would by regular delivery. The box was torn up and I was missing some parts but made it work by using some of my old parts. Other than that, everything was okay……at least it fit.

by:

Package was very heavy. It was so heavy that ups damaged the box and lost some of the hardware. This should have been sent in at least 2 boxes from the weight of this item.

I would give five stars if the product came with instructions and packaged better. Box came like it was taped up by 2 year old. Parts loose and hardware loose. Jacks did work fine.

I have some installation instructions in the link below.

by:

I really can't say a lot about the product quality at this time since I just got it installed. It was (I believe) drop shipped to me from the factory. When I received and installed the land gear assembly it kept binding regardless of if I was raising or lower the landing gear rendering it unusable. I contacted the folks at etrailer and was helped by their technician Wayne H. With his help we were able to discover the problem and that was that the factory sent me two leading landing gear legs instead of a (1) leading leg and one following leg. etrailer sent me a replacement following landing gear leg and I installed it today. Once again the electric landing gears on my 5th wheel worked just like they did when the trailer was new. I will definitely be doing business with etrailer in the future and do recommend them to anyone needing parts for a trailer.

Sold the trailer to my son and his family last spring. Up till that time I experienced no problems and he has not indicated any problems with the landing gear. Cant say enough about the support provided by your company to fix the original manufacture mistake of the kit having two leading legs originally sent to me. I would definitely recommend your company to my friends and family.

by:

Installation was straightforward and motor and jacks operate very smoothly

by:

Purchased for my 2010 Keystone Montana Mountaineer 285 RLD. The original Jack Leg collapsed. I ordered this set to replace the complete Jack Leg System. I upgraded the capacity for added assurance and they fit perfectly. The system runs a little bit slower than the original but that is caused by the different gear ratio for the increased capacity. A few extra seconds of time is an easy trade off for the increased capacity security. A great product from a great company.

by:

The landing gear worked perfectly as a direct replacement to my existing landing gear. One of the legs of the existing landing gear had failed so I decided to replace the entire unit. Everything worked great. Although it wasn’t very difficult to figure out how things were to be put together, there were no installation instructions. It took about two hours of wrench time plus an hour of unpacking, setup, and clean up to replace the entire unit.

by:

Product is good, but the packaging is terrible. Box was torn up and taped back up with packing tape. Switch was damaged and not usable as is.

It sounds like the box did arrive in rough shape. We will have the switch replaced for you. Customer Service will reach out.

by:

Not a hard project for someone younger than me. It seems to work and interchange with the old one. I have yet to try the hand crank. I had to jack trailer up in order to work on it with floor jack and blocks. I'm not sure if the hand crank would pick it up. However, I am happy with the product and will get it a full blown test in June 2020 to see if it holds up. I don't expect any problems.

by:

Landing gears shipped extremely fast and worked perfectly. Was an exact match for the ones I was replacing everything fit perfect. Have had for a year now and seem to be holding up very well so far.

by:

Had a slight problem with the switch being damaged during shipping but etrailer sent a new one right away. Thanks for the great response!

by:

It is better then the one that im repla ceing

by:

The item was delivered on time. I checked and there were no missing parts. The landing gear set fit perfect and appears to be well made. Installation instructions were not included. Whether or not you are experienced with installation of this system, I believe instructions should always be included.

by:

I ordered my landing legs complete package Lippert LC 333964 for my 2007 Keystone Raptor 299 m. It had everything to replace my complete landing legs. Etrailer is the best company I’ve ever did business with. Shipping was real fast. They returned emails within minutes. They are my go to trailer parts store. Thank you so very much. Les

Thanks for the additional information. I was able to determine that the full kit you want is the Lippert # LC333966 replacement landing gear set including the legs and drop feet, cross bar, and gear box. We also have the Lippert # LC333964, which is the same kit, plus the motor and switch.

  • Determining Which Rebuild Kit Is Correct For Landing Gear On 2010 Forest River Wildcat 5th Wheel
It may very well be possible to rebuild the landing gear on your 2010 Forest River Wildcat 5th wheel with a rebuild kit, but first you will need to identify which model landing gear is installed. On either of the landing gear legs there should be a part number, this may be on a white sticker or stamped into the metal depending on the specific landing gear. With this part number I can then identify your landing gear and recommend the correct rebuild kit. If there is not any part numbers...

I'd recommend the # LC333964 Universal Mount Powered Landing Gear Legs. The legs have a 6000 lb capacity, which is fine as the legs only need to lift the pin or hitch weight, not the entire weight of the trailer. The landing gear is manufactured by Lippert Components, who manufactures the majority of fifth wheel frames on the road, so you'll know it'll be strong and dependable.

  • Troubleshooting Atwood MPD 7119 Landing Gear Motor that Keeps Blowing Fuses
Check to make sure that your grounds are good. They need to be secure and connected to a clean, bare-metal surface otherwise they will cause a short. When extending powered landing gear, like your Atwood MPD7119, the motor will have to work harder since it is using the jacks to push the trail up. When retracting the legs gravity lends a helping hand so your motor doesn't have to work as hard. If you have checked the wiring itself, look at your ground connections (even to your battery)...

  • Is Any Maintenance Required For the Lippert Components Camper Jacks
No grease or lubrication is necessary to maintain the Lippert Components Camper Jack # LC333964. According to Lippert, the only maintenance for the camper jack is to wash the jack with mild soap and water. This would be advisable after traveling in the winter when the jack has likely come into contact with road salt and other chemicals.

If you are concerned about the cross bar, then the Reese Electric 5th Wheel Landing Gear Set - 36" Lift - 8,000 lbs # RP500708 is a great option with dual motors so you don't need that crossbar connection.
