Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Stabil-Step Stabilizer Jack. This jack will help extend the life of your step assembly on your RV. It takes around 750 pounds off your step tread, carrying mechanism, and RV frame. It can be used with any step assembly attached to your RV. It stabilizes your step assembly, making the step assembly more steady as you go in and out of your unit, and the adjustable height design is a really great feature. The unit, in the fully retracted position, which is what I'm showing you now, it's going to have a height measurement of around 8". With it fully extended, it extends all the way up to 13-1/2" tall, and it can be used at any point in-between those measurements.
To extend it, it's simply on a threaded post, and all you have to do is rotate half of the unit and allow it to unthread from itself, and that's going to expand it. So you place this under that lower step, extend it to the height that you need until it's in a good support position for your step assembly. The unit's going to feature a capacity of 750 pounds, it's black in color, and it's made from a steel construction. The square pads on the unit, so top and bottom, they measure the same; so they're the same size, and they measure 4" x 4". That's going to do it for today's look at the Stabil-Step Stabilizer Jack.

We had othe double sink in our fifth wheel dropping and seperating from it’s counter top surround. I used this item to prop up the sink to its original position.
The screw thread length adjusting feature was perfect for my application. There was zero trade off with respect to space utilization on the shelf underneath.
If fact, it worked so well I forgot about this project until your follow up question today,

It works as well advertised. Only con is I can't attach it to my step because the step won't fold up but it's easy to take in and out anyway.
I purchased new steps for our camp trailer,and a stabilizer Jack, the steps installed perfectly and the Jack works great. I had questions about the delivery and the communication with the staff was great, Katie researched my claim quickly, and the problem was resolved. I'll be a repeat customer, thanks

Weve had the steps on the trailer for a year now, the steps and the adjustable step brace work perfectly, the brace is worth its weight in gold. Still very satisfied with our purchases
have not used yet but it looks like what I need to help in step support. etrailer is always great to deal with and the email DO give you ideas to help in camping experience.

this is fantastic. had to move to the 2nd step to make it stable.
Far more stable than my old folding braces on the previous camper, but no good way to mount to steps so I just keep it in the basement for travel. Either spike protrudes too far to completely fold up steps if permanently mounted, and I just didn’t like the idea of a ratchet strap on the steps for travel.
I bought 2 RV stair supports. One worked perfectly. The other I had to put in a vise and use a hammer to get it to turn to make it adjustable. I should have returned it but I beat it up so badly with the hammer I felt it would not be returnable. After and hour or so of finally getting it to turn (lots of beating it with the hammer) and a lot of oiling it will be usable. A lot of filing and paint and it will look acceptable. Not quite what I expected from etrailer.
Other products I have purchased have be as expected. Guess I got the occasional lemon.
This support that goes under the steps works great. I weigh about 260 and put a lot of stress on the steps going into our motorhome as well as tilting the home slightly. Now none of that is an issue.
Made a big difference in supporting the steps, saving wear and tear on the mounting hardware.
AS always the parts were delivered on time and in a great shipping box. I have always trusted etrailer to get what i ordered to me in timely manner and with out damage. A great place to get parts from. I will order again when I need something.

Minimum size listed is not correct. Actually taller by over 3/4".

This was ordered to provide extra support for the new steps, which are a lot heavier than the single step they replaced. I would recommend this product as a very useful accessory.
Had to modify the step support so it would work with the steps I bought. Had to cut off an inch on the stem and re-weld.
This works really well unless it is extended almost all the way. It is a little flimsy then.

This is working out well
Seems to do exactly what they were designed for! I put them under the steps as soon as we got them , and they were easy to set up and use. Noticed a remarkable improvement.
Exactly what I expected. Ordering, payment and delivery were seamless.
Does the job as advertised.
I haven't used it yet but it looks like it isn't broke.
