Ellen: Hey, everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com, and we're going to be taking a look at the AceCamp Mesa 3 in 1 Sleeping Bag. This is called a 3 in 1 because it's going to have the sleeping bag, but then also has a fleece liner, and you can use that all on its own, or you can use them together. Sleeping bag, liner, and the combined two. On the inside, we'll have that red, white, and black checked pattern, and then our fleece liner. You can remove this easily, it's just held in place by some toggles and loops on the inside.

Give you a closer look at that, so you can see what I'm talking about. And just makes it pretty easy to remove that, if you want to. There's a little toggle, there's going to be two of these at the head of the sleeping bag, two in the middle, and then two at the feet. The one in the middle, I noticed that it's a little bit off on one side, the loop is just a little down the bag then really makes sense for where the toggle lies, so you might have to make some adjustments to get that to be comfortable, or just skip that one in the middle. But having the toggles does make it a little easier to keep this in place, rather than it getting wadded up inside the sleeping bag itself.This is rated for 30 degrees Fahrenheit.

You want to make sure that anywhere that you're going, the lows for the weather is going to be a little bit warmer than that. You always want to have a sleeping bag that's rated a little bit warmer than what you need, because you can always open up the bag to cool down. I do like the pole on this, it's got a little rubber piece to make it a little easier to grab onto. It also has a pillow pad up at the top, so it's not really a hood so much as it's just an area to put your pillow and give a little bit of extra padding at the head of the bag, and make it a little bit more comfortable. Keep your pillow off the ground, and so on.

This will work for somebody up to six foot six, the total length of the bag, if you go from the edge here at the top of the bag to the very foot is about 72 inches. If you include that pillow pad, it is 86 inches long.It's a little bit of a mummy style. It's a hybrid, so at the top, or the opening up here is going to be a little bit wider. It's about 32 inches wide at the foot, it's about 22 inches wide. It does taper down, helps to keep you a little bit warmer by having that narrowed, or tapered design, but it's still pretty roomy, so you should have enough room to spin around if you're a side sleeper or you like to change positions in the night.

The outer shell is made out of a 210T polyester shell, so it's going to keep you nice and warm, and should be a great addition to your camping pack. It comes with a bag to keep that stored away. It doesn't have any kind of compression to cinch it up really tight, so this is definitely going to be more of a camping sleeping bag, rather than a backpacking sleeping bag.
