Video Transcript for Review of Firestone Lift Spacers For Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs - F2367

Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com and today we're gonna take a brief look at these lift spacers for Firestone Ride-Rite air helper springs. Now these spacers are going to allow air springs to be installed on vehicles with a three-inch lift and the distance between the upper and lower brackets must be between 8 1/2 inches and 9 1/2 inches. And the spacer must be the same size as the lift kit rise. Now these will fit Ride-Rite model F2286 if manufactured after February 1st, 2006. However, I do wanna point out that these will not fit the Ride-Rite models F2350 or F2286. Now this does include everything that you see here on the table before me.

You're going to get two lift spacers and all of the hardware necessary to install these spacers and they're going to fit on your leaf-mounted air springs along with a set of instructions to walk you through the step-by-step process. Well, that's gonna conclude our brief look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.

  • How to Measure To Determine Correct Firestone Lift Spacers for Ride-Rite Kit on 2018 Nissan Frontier
To determine if lift spacers are needed to install the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2558 on your 2018 Nissan Frontier SV 4x4, you'll need to measure the distance between the top and bottom mounting brackets (see photo). Make sure your truck has all four wheels on ground or is up on jack stands and there is no load on the bed. You will then select the right spacer using the following measurements: 6.5" - 7.5" distance between brackets - use 1.25" lift spacer # F2536 7.5" -...

  • How To Tell What Size Firestone Lift Spacers Are Needed On A Truck With A 6 Inch Lift Kit
To determine what size lift spacer to use on your vehicle with Firestone Ride-Rite Air Springs, measure the distance between the upper and lower brackets of your air helper spring kit, and whether the kit mounts on the leaf spring or the axle. The spacer needs to be the same length as the amount of lift applied to the axle on which the air helper spring is installed. The axle mount kit would have the lower bracket mounted to the axle. The leaf mount kit would have the lower bracket mounted...

  • Does 2018 Ford F-150 Need Spacer with Firestone Ride-Rite Air Bags Installed
If you only have 5 psi in the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2582 and the back end of our 2018 Ford F-150 is higher than the front, spacers would just increase that difference. Trucks aren't always level from the factory - that's why the instructions for the air bags have you measure and record the front and back heights individually and then compare them to what you get with the air bags installed. With that being said, if you think you might need a spacer there is a fairly...

  • Will Installation of Firestone Air Bags on 2022 Ford F-150 With Tremor Package Require Spacers
Since you have a 3" lift block on your 2022 Ford F-150 with the Tremor package you will need to use spacers. However, you will want a spacer that matches your lift block so the included spacer is not enough. More than likely you need the 3" lift spacers # F2367. This spacer is for vehicles with 3" lift and from 8.5" to 9.5" between upper and lower brackets. I recommend measuring to be sure. If you find that the distance is 7.5" to 8.5" then you will want the 2" spacer # F2366 instead.

  • Can Firestone Air Bags Be Installed On My Lifted 2022 Ford F-250 To Help With Sag While Towing
I will start by saying the Firestone Ride-Rite Red Label Extreme Duty Air Helper Springs # F36ZR is definitely the correct set for your 2022 Ford F-250 and it will have no problems fitting with an in-bed hitch, so you are good there. However, the 3" lift does complicate things a little. This absolutely does not mean you cannot install this. It does mean you will need to get the upper and lower brackets install and then take a measurement though. The distance between these brackets will...

  • Recommended Air Bag Suspension for a 2021 GMC Sierra 1500 w/ a 4" Lift
Since your 2021 GMC Sierra 1500 has a 4" suspension lift you most likely only have a 3" block on the back axle. With this in mind I recommend the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs item # F2609. This system has a 5,000 lbs load leveling capacity. You will also need the 3" Lift Spacers for Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs item # F2367. I recommend adding the Firestone Air Command I item # F2097. This onboard compressor will allow you to adjust the PSI in your air bags from the...

I spoke to SuperSprings and their SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs # SSR-610-40 may work on your 2018 Tundra, but you will need to measure something to make sure as they are designed for stock ride height. When the # SSR-610-40 is installed, it will measure 6.25" tall. Typically there will be a gap that is anywhere from .25" to 1" from the top of the spring to the bottom of the frame where it will make contact. They said that a gap that is larger than 1", they may not work very well....

Installing the # F2703 on your 2012 F-250 will require moving the block in your picture. However, I'm not sure if it can be moved to the top of the jounce stop since we don't have any information on it and neither did Firestone. I recommend checking with the manufacturer before attempting to move it to the top. The other option is to completely remove it. If you are able to swap it with the jounce stop you can measure to see if a spacer will be required. You will need to measure the distance...

  • Recommended Suspension Enhancement for a Lifted 2021 GMC Sierra 1500
This will depend on how your 2021 GMC Sierra 1500 was lifted. If it was a frame lift, this will not affect the spacing on the suspension and the SumoSprings # SSR-610-40 will definitely be a good option. If it was a suspension lift, there will be too much of a gap and the # SSR-610-40 will not fit properly as they do not offer spacers. For this style of lift, you will want to go with an air bag system, like the Firestone # F2609. You would then need to measure from the bottom of the top...

  • Air Helper Springs and Spacer Kit for a 2008 Ford F-250 with a 6" Lift and Pulling a 5th Wheel
The Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2550 you were looking at fit your 2008 Ford F-250 and works with an in-bed hitch. Adding the air springs will help reduce the strain on your rear suspension and we have spacer kits to allow the air helper springs to work with your lifted truck. Choosing a spacer can be a little confusing because some lift kits aren't "true" lift kits. Now since you have a lift you'll need a spacer kit to take up the extra room. For that you'd want the part # F2366 for a 2 inch spacer, part # F2536 for a 1-1/4 inch spacer, or part # F2367 for a 3 inch spacer. • Will Air Lift Ride Control Air Helper Springs # AL59565 Fit 2009 GMC Sierra with 3 Inch Block Lift
Yes, as long as the distance between the leaf spring and the frame was not changed by installing the lift kit, the Air Lift Ride Control Air Helper Springs, # AL59565, will fit your 2009 GMC Sierra provided it has a 5-1/2 or 6 ft bed. This kit will not work with the 8 ft bed. If by chance you do have the 8 ft bed, take a look at the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs, # F2430. Due to the lift, you would also need Lift Spacers, # F2367.
