Video Transcript for Review of Firestone Vehicle Suspension - 2 Inch Lift Spacers - F2366

Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the two inch lift spacers for the Firestone Ride-Rite air helper springs. This is for a quantity of two. Now, these will allow your air springs to be installed on vehicles that have a two inch lift. And basically, the distance between your upper and lower brackets must be between 7 1/2 and 8 1/2 inches.

And the spacer itself must be the same size as your lift kit rise. This part will include everything shown here on the table. It includes the two lift spacers, all the hardware necessary for installation, nice set of installation instructions. And the lift spacer will fit axle and leaf mounted air springs. Again, the application is vehicles with a two inch lift and a 7 1/2 to 8 1/2 inch measurement between the upper and lower brackets.

Now, this will not fit the Ride-Rite models F2350 or F2286, but it will fit the Ride-Rite model F2286 if it's manufactured after February 1st of 2006. But that should do it for the review on the two inch lift spacers for the Firestone Ride-Rite air helper springs..

Won't fit the GMC 2023 LZ0 Diesel!! I had the Ride-Rites on my 2013 Tacoma, and they worked great! I recently purchased a 2023 GMC Sierra 1500 with the DuraMax 3.0 Turbo diesel LZ0 engine. The air bag kit F2609 does not fit this vehicle, even though Firestones WEB site indicated it did. The problem is the upper bracket and airbag contact the exhaust pipe. After calling Firestone, the product specialist knew of this information and are now updating their WEB site. After etrailer confirmed my findings with Firestone about this issue, everything will be returned, and they too will update their WEB site too :(

I'm giving etrailer's Customer Support 5 stars, and Firestone -20 stars for not keeping their WEB site current and knowing about this issue!

After a year of use including 3 months in Alaska, these Air helper springs have worked flawlessly. They give me just enough lift to level out my truck with over 800lbs of trailer tongue weight and 500lbs in the bed. I have individual adjustments on my Ride-rites and I haven't needed to make the pressure different from side to side. I'm now considering adding an adjustable air system that can be operated from inside the truck.

by:

Worked just fine. Had to purchase because truck had rough country 3" lift, although it only had 2" blocks for rear. Spacers seemed to be great quality. Was not impressed for how long shipping took. The bags only took 2 days. And it would be nice if there was a better warning I needed spacers for my air bags. It says compatible with lifts but that was it. So when I went to install, I had to take them back off and look it up. That's when I found they made spacers. I have to add I LOVE My Firestone Air suspension. When I hooked up to trailer, truck dropped 7"s. With airbags and 45lbs of air, dropped 2"s and ride was smooth.

After a year, bags still work just as well as they did the 1st day. So far I still havent had any air leaks or blessing off. It stays where I put it. I have a half tone truck. I just hauled 1 12 ton of top soil with 60lb of air and truck rode level. Even the guy on the loader complemented suspension. Next I would like to add controls from the cab or my phone so I dont have to use the air hose every time to change it.

by:

These spacers were the reason I chose Firestone Ride Rite over ReadyAir air helper springs, which would have required removal of my overload leaf springs. With the spacers that match my rear lift block spacers, it is a very easy installation.

by:

I have a 2022 Silverado 1500 LTZ Z71 and these were not needed. When installed, the bags were fully compressed and didn't give the required 5.5" of travel.

by:

I just finished the installation of the air springs and spacers. All the parts were there, the instructions were easy to follow and all went well. I look forward to hooking up the fifth wheel or loading up with firewood. Thanks for the excellent service and the additional help answering my questions about the spacer kit to accommodate the lift on my truck.

by:

I didn't need them so I am returning th em.

by:

Awesome service

by:

I ordered the air bag extensions and they are still solid and working as they should. I got them on time no hassle at all.

by:

These spacers were just what I needed after I modified the suspension on my old Chevy pickup. I bagged and 4 linked the rear but it was just a little too low, using these spacers got my ride height where it needed to be.

by:

Exactly what I ordered with super fast shipping. Can't wait for my extension brackets to come in and install it on my truck

by:

Quality part and quick delivery. I’ll definitely be ordering from etrailer.com again.

  • How to Measure To Determine Correct Firestone Lift Spacers for Ride-Rite Kit on 2018 Nissan Frontier
To determine if lift spacers are needed to install the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2558 on your 2018 Nissan Frontier SV 4x4, you'll need to measure the distance between the top and bottom mounting brackets (see photo). Make sure your truck has all four wheels on ground or is up on jack stands and there is no load on the bed. You will then select the right spacer using the following measurements: 6.5" - 7.5" distance between brackets - use 1.25" lift spacer # F2536 7.5" -...

  • Spacers Needed to Install Air Helper Springs on Lifted 2000 Toyota Tacoma
To determine the size of spacer that you will need to install # F2304, you will need to measure the space between the bottom of the frame to the top of the axle. If this measurement is 6-1/2 to 7-1/2 inches you would need a 1.25 inch spacer set # F2536. The other spacer kit # F2366 would be used if the distance between the brackets is 7-1/2 to 8-1/2 inches.

  • Air Suspension Enhancement Recommendation for 2004 Ford F-250
The Firestone kit part # F2550 is the only air bag kit we offer that we know is a confirmed fit for your 2004 Ford F-250 and is compatible with an in bed hitch like a B and W Turnoverball # BWGNRK1108 like what you have. If your leveling kit lowered the rear of your truck we aren't going to have a way to install this kit though. If it was up to a 1 inch lift you'd be fine as-is. We have the 1-1/2 inch spacer part # F2536 for if you have a 1-1/2 inch lift or part # F2366 for a 2 inch lift.

  • How To Tell What Size Firestone Lift Spacers Are Needed On A Truck With A 6 Inch Lift Kit
To determine what size lift spacer to use on your vehicle with Firestone Ride-Rite Air Springs, measure the distance between the upper and lower brackets of your air helper spring kit, and whether the kit mounts on the leaf spring or the axle. The spacer needs to be the same length as the amount of lift applied to the axle on which the air helper spring is installed. The axle mount kit would have the lower bracket mounted to the axle. The leaf mount kit would have the lower bracket mounted...

If the lift on the rear of your 2014 Chevy Silverado 1500 was only a body lift (sounds like it), and the suspension wasn't touched at all a lift spacer like the part # F2366 that you referenced wouldn't be necessary. Since you have 2 inch spacers between the leaf springs and the axle you will need the Lift Spacers for Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs, part # F2366. If you only have 5 psi in the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2582 and the back end of our 2018 Ford F-150 is higher than the front, spacers would just increase that difference. Trucks aren't always level from the factory - that's why the instructions for the air bags have you measure and record the front and back heights individually and then compare them to what you get with the air bags installed. • Will Installation of Firestone Air Bags on 2022 Ford F-150 With Tremor Package Require Spacers
Since you have a 3" lift block on your 2022 Ford F-150 with the Tremor package you will need to use spacers. However, you will want a spacer that matches your lift block so the included spacer is not enough. More than likely you need the 3" lift spacers # F2367. This spacer is for vehicles with 3" lift and from 8.5" to 9.5" between upper and lower brackets. I recommend measuring to be sure. If you find that the distance is 7.5" to 8.5" then you will want the 2" spacer # F2366 instead.
