Excellent Hitch and looks awesome! I haul a big 20' Deckover Trailer and upgraded to this larger hitch. It was helpful to have another person help install because the hitch receiver is fairly combersome. Easy install thought. Happy with this product.

I wanted a hitch reciver that would give me the trucks full towing capacity plus and not decrease its angle of departure. This unit filled the bill. Installation had just one unexpected challenge. The width was slightly wider dat the rear leaf spring hangers. I used a floor jack to push the hitch up and a dead blow hammer to move it forward to align the holes for the M14-2X45 coarse thread bolt to the welded nuts. This slightly sprung one the hitches attachment arms toward the center line of the truck. I used a large C clamp on the attachment arms and leaf spring to move it outward alineing the frame's and attachment arm's holes for the M14-1.5X45 bolt.
I wish to thank Maddie for her valuable help in dealing with the order. It was not in stock and delayed due to Drawtite's fabrication timelines. She communicated regulary, provided expert level knowlage and was freindly.

The new Draw-Tite hitch fit perfectly. The original hitch that I returned was for a truck without a factory hitch & this truck had a factory hitch. I can't believe that GM would make two different chassis on a pickup truck just to accommodate a hitch.

I purchased this hitch as a replacement for the factory hitch on my 2009 2500hd silverado. It is noticeably heavier then stock. Maybe 20 pounds more. It fastens to the frame using existing holes which were different then the old hitch. It fits very well and was not difficult to install. I can't wait to trailer with it.
It tucks up nicely under the bumper. I think this is an improvement to the stock hitch. Thank you

2005 Chevrolet Silverado
Product looks good and fit well. It was easy to install but the instructions were poor. It ask to take out 2 bolts that didn't need to be removed and gave no written instructions about the forward bolts.
Reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is there were supposed to be two fine thread nuts but I got one fine thread and one coarse thread so I'll have to go to town to get another nut.
Also I didn't know I would have to replace the OEM trailer plug.

Good heavy duty product. Installation instructions could be much better. But overall not super hard to install. Make sure you have some large deep sockets to take off the factory Chevy hitch.

2001 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD
Shipped same day as ordered. Hitch fit perfectly on 2001 2500HD. I have a Banks 4 inch exhaust and the rear hanger had to be lengthened slightly to provide clearance. Appears very well built, and instructions are a helpful addition.

Unfortunately I ordered the wrong hitch. Thanks to some help from your staff I was able to order the right one. It fit perfectly and was easy to install. I really appreciated the easy return process. Box was pretty beat up. Bolts were missing, called them about it she told me she would get ahold of someone about it but 2 days later I've not heard anything from them. Can't install without them

I would say this is excellent product, I love the way it was so easy to install! The only thing is that it didn't come with all bolts so I just looked around the garage to find some. Other than that, I would reccomend this to anyone!

A year after installing Ive used the hitch on several projects hauling gravel, dirt or firewood towing a 20 dump trailer. All positive hitch performance.
