Measurements of Draw-Tite Hitch 45517 for 2008 GMC Sierra

Question:

I need the vertical measurement from the hole at the front on the rail to the very bottom of the rail. Also to the top of the curve at the bottom of the rail and the width of the curve. It looks like it could be about 1 inch wide. Thanks

I'm not 100 percent certain about the exact measurement you are looking for; is it the vertical measurement of the bolt hole on the frame brackets to the hitch tube itself or the horizontal measurement from the bolt hole to the rear of the hitch tube?

I went out to the warehouse to measure Draw-Tite hitch # DT45517 and found that it was 6" from the hole at the front to the bottom of the bracket (the rail); the bracket itself measured 1/4" thick. Some other measurements I took for you - from the bottom of the bracket to the top was 7", the width of the bottom bracket was 1", and the width of the top of the bracket was 2-1/2". This is a Class V hitch with a 2-1/2" receiver that has a tongue weight capacity of 1,300 lbs and towing capacity of 13,000 lbs.
