Drawbar sold separately.I asked my mechanic to install my new 1 1/4" Curt trailer hitch receiver the other day. He called to say that it was so easy and quick to do that there was no charge for his work. This is the second trailer hitch I've purchased from eTrailer.com in nine years, and the first one is still in use on another vehicle I own. My new hitch is used only for coupling with a bike rack. Both are new, so today was the first day I actually used them together. The trailer hitch is securely installed, safe and unobtrusive. I am very pleased with the quality, ease of ordering, customer service and price and value.
Installation was so EASY for me !! As long as you've got the right tools including a torque wrench this is no problem. The install video on etrailer was very helpful on what to expect.. BUT DON'T BOTHER wasting time by lowering the MUFFLER (2019 NX300h).. I did NOT. It's ABSOLUTELY not necessary!! This hitch very easy to navigate into it's mounting place around the muffler. I DID use 1-foot lifting ramps for the extra work space, so this did make it quite easy. It's just 4 bolts into the vehicle frame and torquing to specs. I was done in 20 minutes. Nice quality tow-hitch. I recommend it.
$2600 what? That’s what the Lexus dealer quoted me when I asked for an estimate to install a Class II hitch for my vehicle. No thanks! Thanks to to etrailer.com I installed a Curt II hitch for [less]. I’ll be calling you guys when I’m ready to do the trailer wiring. Thanks!!
I bought this hitch about a year ago. When lifted evenly it fit the frame snugly. The mounting holes were right where they needed to be. We have had no problems with the hitch but the rear foot lift gate option does not function with the hitch on. I think this is something that can happen with some vehicles. The finish still looks new without any rust. I would buy another If I needed one.
Received this hitch yesterday (8/9/19) in good condition. Installed the hitch on a 2020 Lexus NX300 to day. I did it alone by placing a piece of square tubing into the receiver and facing it forward. Drilled a 1/4" hole in the tubing and fastened the tubing with a bolt through the hole and the pin hole in the receiver. This enabled me to place the hitch, in perfect balance, on a floor jack and the lift it into position. The fit on the vehicle was perfect. The installation went smooth. Did remove the two exhaust system rubber supports in the very back and the left side tail pipe collar.

I had a mechanic install this. It would be easier on a rack. The mechanic said if the hitch was the right size and the holes in the frame were already drilled, it would be no problem. It turned out the the hitch was a perfect fit, and it took the mechanic no time at all to install. It looks great and functions well for what I need it for. I would recommend this product.

The hitch is working out as well today, a year later, as the day it was installed.
I purchased the Curt trailer hitch and Thule 4 bike rack recently with the intention of installing it myself. After receiving the hitch and reading some of the reviews for self install I had second thoughts due to the weight of the hitch. I found a very reliable, low cost professional installer in the Matthews, NC area and can honestly say that it was the right decision after watching them have to bend out the prongs slightly in order to fit the frame on my vehicle. I'm very happy with the results. Now looking forward to some fun bike riding with the family.

Its been great, love it. Hitch does not interfere with lift-gate kick sensor!! This was a big question I could never find the answer to. SO GLAD I didnt waste money on a factory hitch that was extremely expensive. I still highly recommend this.
