With this kit, you get a safer ride and simultaneously protect your vehicle from the strain that comes with hauling massive loads.
Carrying heavy cargo in your truck bed or trailer puts tremendous stress on your vehicle. Your brakes erode faster, your tires wear unevenly, and handling suffers severely. When towing, you might also experience excessive sway, bottoming out, and even improper and unsafe headlight aim. Fortunately, there is a solution to these problems. By pairing your existing suspension with the LoadLifter 5000, you can seriously beef up your suspension, ensure equal load distribution, and give your vehicle the support it desperately needs. Air Lift's LoadLifter 5000 provides up to 5,000 lbs of load-leveling capacity and distributes the weight of your payload to all 4 wheels. As a result, the stress on your OEM suspension is significantly reduced.
LoadLifter's air bags are adjustable from 5 to 100 psi for precise support, and they can be inflated independently of one another for front-to-rear and side-to-side leveling. They are made of high-quality, 2-ply, fabric-reinforced rubber. Most air bags lose air at the ends, where the bag is enclosed with a steel cap, because the steel can rust and corrode over time, creating small holes. The endcaps on Air Lift air bags are fashioned from corrosion-proof Zytel nylon, a material that is both stronger and lighter than steel, ensuring that the air bags won't lose air. Also, LoadLifter 5000 comes with Air Lift's exclusive roll plates, which both protect your air springs and beef up the load capacity of the springs.
This system installs with the included brackets and hardware. Just mount the springs, inflate them, and ride. To inflate the LoadLifter springs, you just have to pump air in through the inflation valves. A line kit is included with the springs so that you can install the valves (one for each spring) in an easily accessible area - typically they are installed on the bumper. If you want to make the springs even easier to use, you can get a compressor and gauge system (sold separately).
Air Lift kits are designed to keep your vehicle at normal ride height. You can find the normal ride height of your vehicle by unloading it and measuring the distance between the bottom edge of your wheel well and the center of the hub. After you find and record this distance, you can regulate the amount of air that you put into your air springs to maintain normal ride height - even when you are hauling a heavy load. You will need to adjust the air pressure in your air bags according to the size of your load.

Installation of the Loadlifter 5000 kit went smoothly, no issues at all. One of the best advantages of having this system on my F-150 is the stabilization it provides when towing our camper. I tow a 6,000 lb camper with an 800 lb hitch weight. I use a weight distribution hitch so the truck and camper ride level, as they should. The difference with the Loadlifter system is that it controls the bounce, providing a much more stable and controlled ride. I highly recommend this air spring kit in conjunction with a weight distribution hitch. When you don't need to added support of the air springs, ie no load, just drop the air pressure down to 5 lbs and you don't know they are there.
It was exactly as described and advertised. Works perfectly on my 2019 Ford F150. It took me longer than expected to install because of the fridge was just filled by my perfect wife who knew I was going to be installing the kit. The kit helps me with towing my travel trailer. My truck looks great jacked up rolling around town but I took it back down to the recommended 5lbs.

The load lifter installation went fairly easy. Using an oscillating cutter worked well for cutting the bracket on the driver's side. I would recommend watching the video so you can relate with the instructions. The load lifter itself is working as advertised. My trailer pulls much better now.
Warm weather has allowed my son and me to do this installation. It went well and took us about 5 hours from start to finish including unpacking, reading the manual, installation, and putting up the tools. Then did the leak test and did the test drive. Hauled 500 pounds today and working great. Without any weight in the truck it still rides very smooth.

It has been great especially when I am pulling my travel trailer. I am pulling 5500 to 6000 pounds and this is where you will really notice the improvement! The air ride system with the automatic leveling has made travel with my travel trailer a much less stressful time and I am now a happy camper.
I haven’t installed this yet, but have watched countless videos on [online], and I decided the “airlift” brand system was better than all of the others because the top airbag bracket goes directly under the frame and not on the side of the frame with a large bracket that looks like it would flex under load.
I can feel the difference already. Smoother ride on a stiff riding F150. Can't wait to tow the trailer and adjust the hitch weight.
Purchased the kit to aid in leveling F150 with 3.5 ton trailer. Have a sway bar kit, but needed a little help getting it level. Other options (springs, etc.) were more costly. Kit well packaged, instructions straight forward. Installation was a leisurely 4 hours. Go to have a second set of hands if you can get help. Run T 5 psi around town and 18-22 psi with trailer connected. HUGE improvement for overall performance in handling.
Really good fix for trailer sag.

Product has been outstanding. Have pulled over 5000 miles with it with zero issues. Helped transfer more load to front suspension which adds more confidence in turns and stopping. Makes leveling a breeze.
I purchased this for my '18 F150. They were not hard to install but I had a lift and tools available which helped a lot. They help keep things level and helped reduce bouncing while towing. We have 2 vehicles with these bags and would recommend them to anyone.
Install was not bad at all, just took some time. I use this to adjust my fifth wheel, and tractor trailer. I’m able to get a good amount of tongue weight, then inflate to send some weight to the front of my truck. Everything pulls much better than before. I preferred the manual air over the automatic. My buddy has the automatic, because they are tied together, when he parks on a grade it causes one side to squat pretty bad. If you are considering this, I’d recommend going ahead and doing it.

Installed on a 2017 F-150 to alleviate sag pulling a 25' Airstream with 700+ lbs tongue weight. Installation was pretty straight forward thanks to good directions and videos by e-trailer. Made a huge difference while towing (80-90 psi in bags) and hardly noticeable when not (5 -10 psi). Would definitely purchase again and highly recommend e-trailer.
Purchased the Air Lift Load Lifter 5000 for my 2020 F150 to help when towing a camper and 30hp tractor. Kit was complete including a color instruction booklet with clear photos. Etrailer has an awesome video detailing installation as well. Install took 2-3 hours in my garage. Ordering off of the website was easy and my kit was here in 2 days with standard shipping. Great system and fairly easy to install. torquing the bolts to spec is somewhat challenging due to difficulty of getting a torque wrench in there. I am towing a 9500lb camper behind my F150 and the air springs made a huge difference. still need a bigger truck but at least I can take my time getting a new one while still towing comfortably with the F150.

it has been 1 year since the install and I am more convinced than ever that i should have done this a long time ago. the system works great and it has made towing much better.
My first set of air springs. Installing was involved but not difficult. I bought them for towing my fifth wheel. I love how stable the ride is now. The body roll on curves is gone. Love this product!
First, I can’t say enough about etrailer and Amy E. and all her help. I will be happy to highly recommend etrailer to all of my camping friends and people I meet at the campground. They were extremely helpful and very diligent in keeping me informed of my order status.
The airlift load lifter 5000 has performed fantastic. I got home Thursday evening from work and started the installation project. I did the process in my driveway in 2 1/2 hours. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow. If you have the capability I recommend lifting the whole back end of the truck and removing the rear wheels for installation. I was able to work over the rotor while kneeling instead of laying underneath the truck the entire time. I also purchased the airlift union tee and put a single Schrader valve in my bumper.
I left the next afternoon for a weekend of camping and was happy to see my truck sitting level while being hooked up to the camper.

The Airlift system for my F150 installed in about 4 hours with the help of my child. Pretty straight forward instructions. The complete kit works wonders on my previous F150 so didn't hesitate getting for my new one. etrailer is a great company to work with, ships my orders out quickly, exactly as expected. I ordered Air Lift Loadlifter 5000 Air Helper Springs for my Ford F-150 to reduce rocking and uneven suspension when I tow our camper, and reduce uneven/excessive wear on my tires and brakes. A customer support specialist at etrailer answered my questions and helped me place the order. I received email confirmation of my order within minutes, the product was shipped less than half an hour later, and arrived two days sooner than I expected. Great customer service, and a totally reliable company!
The product was delivered in a perfect condition and as scheduled. Very simple installation for 2016 Ford F150. The Ride with 5 lbs is better than the factory ride. I thought it would be a rough based on what others said. The rear height did get raised by 1/2" at 5 lbs. With a good bicycle pump it took 4 pumps to get to 20 lbs., that's much better than getting out the the compressor.
I love these! They helped so much when towing my 31' 5th wheel and now my 33' Travel Trailer with my F150!!
After a year they are still working great...Pulled my 5th wheel, 12,000lbs down to Texas and back to Ontario with no issues at all.
