Hi everybody. My name is Andy with etrailer.com. And today we're going to take a look at Coghlan's Leather 2-Liter Bota Bag. Now, if you're looking for a rugged, leather drinking bag for your outdoor adventures, this just might be a great option for you. Let's take a closer look at it. This bota bag, is fashioned after a traditional Spanish wine skins, and it's actually made out of rugged leather, in Spain.

And as you can see here the stamp on the back of the bag, it is made in Spain and the leather feels really nice, really sturdy, and it's kind of, at least on the front and back surfaces and the loops here, it's kind of like a very suedy material. I'm wearing a darker colored shirt and that suede kind of sheds a little bit, but I'm sure the longer that you use this, that'll kind of wear off and have a nice weathered use look as leather typically ages well like that. This has a poly ethylene lining that protects of, not only the leather exterior, but also the taste of a whatever fluid that you would put in this bag to drink. It does have two openings. The first one is for drinking and as you can see, it also has this nice cord here that will help keep your cap secure and you don't have to be fearful of losing it.

And it provides a nice, convenient way to enjoy whatever beverage that you would put in here. And then it also on the second opening is a little bit wider to allow you to refill whatever you would like to enjoy from this bag and while we're here, let me give you an idea of measurement here. This refill spout is sitting right at about 3 1/4 inches is the opening there. So 3 1/4 fourths inches, and that'll provide you enough space to put in or refill whatever you would like to drink from this bag. And again, if you keep the caps together like this, it will be secured by this cord and you'll have really no worry of losing these caps.

Now it does feature a nice braided shoulder strap, and this gives you a really enough length to comfortably and conveniently carry this. And I tried to give a rough measurement of this cord, and I think it's a little bit over 60 inches long. So again, that should be enough length for you. No problem there. And while we're speaking of measurements, I'm going to pull up my tape measure since this measures a little bit more than 12 inches.

And if I'm measuring diagonally from the cap to about the longest point here, we are sitting at about 14 1/2 inches, obviously this is not being, not filled out a little over 14 by 14 1/2 inches diagonally. And then to measure this at its widest point, I think we're sitting at right about the widest point. I'm going to say about 10 1/4 inches. 10 1/4 inches across at the widest point.
