Will the RAS Kit Work With Air Bags On a 2017 Ford F-150
Question:
Mentioned above, I have that vehicle towing a 2021 30foot Rockwood 2608BS travel trailer with a dry weight of 6950lbs. Now, our truck has the max trailer tow package with the second generation ecoboost with the 3:55 axle ratio. Ifoot m using a weight distribution hitch Model Recurve E3. I have had a very nice air bag system that was installed on the truck. This definitely helped with the sagging on the back of the truck, but didnt do anything for what I believe is Axle Wrap of the spring pack. I have taken the truck, trailer, weight distribution hitch, all cargo, passengers, fuel and miscellaneous to the scales and Im weighing in at 14,200 lbs total. Can and could I use the RAS3611-YHD heavy duty roadmaster kit given the information to give my axles more support to help eliminate the current wheel hop when Im towing this trailer? I previously towed a 2016 Lance TT that was about 1000lbs lighter than my current unit and had no issues. The truck itself has plenty of power to tow my trailer, FYI. Please let me know what you think and if Im on the right track with everything mentioned. Thank You for your help

The RoadActive Suspension Custom Leaf Spring Enhancement Kit part # RAS3611-YHD which is a fit for a 2017 Ford F-150 will only work with air bags if you have AirLift bags like part # AL57385 which mount inside the frame. If you have Firestone air bags like part # F2582 which mount outside the frame then it will not work.
