Installation
This custom-fit T-One connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located behind the driver's-side and passenger's-side interior trim panels in your rear cargo area. Once you've plugged in the T-connector, run the hot lead up to your car battery. Connect the lead to the included fuse holder, and then connect the fuse holder to the positive terminal on your battery and insert the provided fuse.
Once installation is complete, the 4-way flat connector will be stowed in an out-of-the-way location within your cargo area.
It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plugs on your automobile and the 4-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.
A ModuLite power module is built into this T-One connector. Because most trailers run on a two-wire system - wherein the brake and turn signals are carried on one wire - the separate brake and turn signals from your vehicle's three-wire system need to be combined so they are compatible with the wiring system of your trailer. This power module functions as a tail light converter to combine the brake and turn signal functions of your automobile so that they run on one wire to properly activate your trailer's tail lights. Note: This will not affect how the tail lights on your vehicle operate.
With a ModuLite, your trailer's lights will be powered without overloading your vehicle's electrical system. Because the module draws power directly from your car's battery and bypasses the electrical routes that are used by a basic wiring harness, there is virtually no draw on your tail light circuits.

Wiring the hookup for trailer lights on 2016 Nissan NV 1500 was a snap!So easy,except getting up under van to run wire up to battery.Plug and play type connections was easy!
Harness works, however there should be an option for a longer version if you have a high top van. These are too short and need to be ran under the cargo area floor mat/trim to reach across, instead of over the top as the instructions present for the installation.
Better quality than I expected, no difference from factory original parts. From placing the order, tracking information to my phone to nailing the arrival time to my home, every aspect was a pleasant one. Icing on the cake were the helpful installation videos I could refer to along with the instructions. Thanks guys

Received hitch and wiring harness one day earlier than expected. Hitch bolted up fine and was able to install wiring after watching online video. We are currently on the road destination Grand Isle La. with kayaks in tow. Waited until 11th hour and got it done thanks etrailer!!
I recently moved to Florida and received many quotes to wire my Nissan NV1500. Each quote was well over $400. etrailer educated me on how to install my hitch and provided me with the installation package and in addition provided me with the brake package, etrailer helped me save $200 plus.
The hitch takes minutes to install but the harness is a little tricky. Check out YouTube video for assistance. It helped emensley!
Nissan 1500 exact fit to electrical connectors, wires are at adequate lengths for installing and connecting to battery . Overall very easy setup and DIY saved me a lot of money over going to the dealer to install my hitch and wiring.
Received trailer hitch on time and in great shape. Easy installation did it by myself in about half an hour. I would recommend etrailer.

A little difficult to get hooked up but still working good a year later
Easy to install but time consuming, left turn signal wouldn't work out of the box. Troubleshooted it was a module issue.
This harness was as easy to hook up as the video shows.The only hard part was getting the wire to my vehicle battery.
Every thing went right in. only problem was the wire that goes from the battery to the module was about 8 feet short. No problem, just added what I needed and finished.
