Parts Needed to Install Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Brake Controller in 2013 Nissan NV 2500
Question:
I own a 2013 Nissan NV2500 that did not come with a factory tow package. It currently has an aftermarket trailer and functioning 4 pin trailer wiring. I have in my cart: ETBC7 -Universal installation kit for brake controller kit RED24FR -Redarc Tow Pro RED39FR -Redarc Wiring harness Will these the best parts to work with my vehicle and are all I will need. Nissans have I believe, a combined brake/tail light wire that requires a converter for the 4 pin which I already have, but I read something in the instructions about this product not working with that. Thanks

Since your 2013 Nissan NV 2500 already has a working 4-way like part # 118553, you are on the money with the parts you need to install the Redarc brake controller:
- Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller # ETBC7
- Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Brake Controller # RED44FR
- Plug-and-Play Wiring Harness for Redarc Tow-Pro Trailer Brake Controllers # RED39FR
These are the exact parts you will need to add the controller to your '13 NV 2500. The Elite will work with your Nissan, as the note in the instructions about a controller not working with combined brake/turn is for a different model. I have added links below to video reviews and a help article on installing the # ETBC7 for you to check out as well.
